Elder Al Ware grew up in Pinellas County, and was baptized at St. John Primitive Baptist Church in Clearwater, Florida at the age of fifteen.
Elder Ware was ordained as a Deacon at Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church in June 1978. He was called to the ministry and gave his initial sermon on July 17, 1989. He was ordained as a Minister in the fall of 1991 at St. John Primitive Baptist Church. He served as Associate Minister at New Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of his father until the Lord saw fit to call his father home in January 1993.
In February 1993, New Shiloh wrote a letter calling Elder Ware to serve as its Pastor; he accepted the call in March 1993. Elder Ware was installed May 23, 1993, by Moderator Carl Rhodes Jr. This made him the official Pastor of New Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church.
Elder Ware earned a doctorate degree from the Christian Bible College and Seminary on March 12, 2013, and he recently completed his fifth year of Biblical Hebrew Study from the Israel Center, Israel.
Pastor Ware currently serves as President of South Florida Progressive Primitive Baptist District Association, Inc., Union #2, Financial Secretary for South Florida Progressive Primitive Baptist District Association, Inc., and Financial Secretary for the Florida State Primitive Baptist Convention, Inc.
Pastor Ware is a dedicated Minister, preaching and teaching God’s Word. He visits the sick and cares about the members of his church.
